It really isn't backmountable, but with square peg/round hole,it is becoming that way.

    Default Wormhole

It is on the maps: you jump to the near end of it almost immediately after jumping from the mainline to Hill 400. After Hill 400 jump, go about 30' and look to your right and you will see a fairly good-sized opening and you can see the line. The other end is to your right just before you start up the hill on Hill 400. It is further off the mainline than the other end and harder to find. The passage is frequently done BM and SM. Hope this helps.

It's more of a backmount tunnel than sidemount, as it's not very wide, but it's got a little (emphasis on littel) height. Like probably three feet.

Wit a bit of finesse it can be scootered...........

    Seriously,
It is smallish, easily silted up and has many sharp edges.

That's the whole idea of sm, if it's not wide enough to navigate w/o banging the sidewalls, take a tank (or two) off.

It's bad luck to be superstitious.

    Default Jump in Wormhole

After entering the near end of the WH passage, you will go a short distance and encounter a jump to the left. This jump is less than 2 feet, so you can swim by it easily. If you do, you will get to a "T" in a particulary tight place. The general wisdom I've heard is to take the jump for easier passage. If you do reach the "T", go left as right is a dead end according to the map. I've never gone that way - has anyone?

I have to agree Mike. I think choosing the correct configuration for a passage is important for cave conservation. All too often I will see someone say they made it through a certain passage, but a look of the tanks will show white limestone marks along the longitudinal length of the tank-so did we really fit? The last time I did the worm hole the floor was peppered with limestone flakes which suggests that we are reaming out the passage more than we are traversing it. IMHO sidemount is the method of choice for this passage, which means swimming sideways in the beginning of the narrow passage,or as Mike suggested tank removal.

I have never been in there, but looking at the pic Billybones posted, it sure looks like it has been reamed out in the shape of a set of doubles...
