We scootered through the wormhole today. We want to ensure that everyone can enjoy this section of cave not just the accomplished cave divers. We cleaned out most of the silt and took the slack in the gold line in the gallery and made an extension of Hill 400 that goes through the wormhole.

    Enjoy!

Did you get the SS UV26 with the optional pneumatic jackhammer and grinder? I heard they were starting to sell those as standard attachments soon.

Sorry in all seriousness I did go in the wormhole last night for the fourth time and it was a very different dive from what I remember. I think this thread really got me thinking about how difficult the wormhole is if you try to be mindful of the impact you are having in there. It was one of the more challenging dives I have done in a while and it didn't involve a stage or a scooter.

It would be really tough to get out of the wormhole in a no viz situation too... Just things to think about for the OP.

The meg needs many more tweaks before I take him in the wormhole.. but i'm perfectly
happy in a pair of 104's, (taking plenty of gas for slow careful progress) my usual 85's & a stage won't do for that.

my problem lately is that there are too many techniques to try out and too little time ...

that was us. appreciate the yield. i'm kind of a speed demon on the way in. i think im gonna turn in my turtles and go back to my slipstreams though. i dont feel like i got enough push with them. there a little too.......flexy. it feels like they "snap" at the end of my frogkick.
