In general the way to deal with this type of question:
First, you should ask at the place you bought it. If they can't help you, call the manufacturer.
I replaced mine last year and other than suffering a mild heart attack at the cost of the bulb I found the actual replacement to be rather easy.
$139.00 for the bulb and here is the owners manual link that shows you how to replace the bulb.

I replaced my 10w HID bulb last month. The Luraville shops had both the bulb and the o-rings, but I would have loved the manual Caver Ranger provided! It worked great that weekend, as well as this week at Madison Blue, Cow and LR.
As the manual states, it is "field replacable," but if you have time I would definitely send it back to DR thru your LDS.
BTW I found out the bulb was toast when I got in the water at Peacock. Back in the parking lot a most excellent caver, Kevin, lent me a spare HID light so I could make the dive with my friends. Thanks!!
If you have a older MR11 bulb you can get a Welch Allyn 10W replacment from Battery Space for much less than other locations but you have to do the install yourself. IT IS NOT HARD TO DO. Just get some exact replacment orings and a pic to pull the old rings out.
If you have a newer sunspot bulb you will have to go to a DR dealer or send it back to them for a replacment. I have not checked the interchangability of the older MR11s and the sunspot so I dont know if an upgrade or downgrade is possible.
If you need more info just PM me.

Forrest,I went ahead and had Scuba Tiger send it back. But the website Gibby gave me sounds good for nexttime.I have the mr11 bulb and found the manual for installation.Which Caveranger also provided.Im getting a spare bulb though, might save a dive. Thanks for everybodys help.
you should up grade to the sun spot it cost the same as the m 11 i know mine is at dive rite now
always ready to dive
Well Im happy with the MR11,only because I dont know any better.I did have a buddy of mine tell me he got the upgrade and thought it was brighter before,so I dont know.
Does anybody have a new or like-new 6* or 13* bulb that would like to trade it for a like-new sunspot? It's way, way too tight for my likings.
I'll be at JB the 16th and 17th, plus every other weekend or so through May.
Is'nt that the H10 buld with a separate mr11 typr reflector? If so then it might be possible that the UK light canon bulb would be a replacement.
