Default UV-26, runs But needs repair.

I have an older UV-26 that I bought from Edd at Cave Adventures years ago. Around 2012. It was one of his rental scooters. I have only ever dove it in fresh water. It has spent a great deal of time in storage as I have moved a great deal and was living overseas for several years. The batteries run, but I would replace them. It has not been in the water in about three years.

Here is the bad, on one of the moves, the rear prop area was broke. The piece that holds the props broke. It was not dropped. From what the movers told me, it was sitting upright and the trigger was engaged as the bottom of the prop area were in contact with the floor. As I said, the motor still runs. I will take pictures when I get home. All of the props are in tact. It is the plastic piece that holds the props. I would rather ship it without the batteries.

I am not even sure what it is worth. I kept telling myself I was going to order the parts and fix it, but I have not gotten around to I in over a year. So it is time to let it go.

Because I have to put a price, let?s start with $950 shipped to the lower 48 without batteries. Someone make me an offer. Might be an easy fix for someone. Located in eastern NC. Willing to drive a few hours and meet.

    Thanks everyone and dive safe.

So after looking on the website, it looks like the part that needs to be replaced is the inner drive hub. I can only find the option to purchase the inner and outer drive hub assembly as a set from Diver gear express. Even tonight as I was pulling it away from my work bench, it still fires up. It has not been on a charger for over two years. I am not going to speculate what the burn time or power of the batteries are. If anyone would like more pictures, let me know. Also, if I am too high on my asking price, tell me. I have been out of the water for some time and do not know how much these go for now.

Replace clutch plate, upper hub assy, lower hub assy - about $50 retail.
For a $100 you can get a Gavin Clutch assy that has all of the above parts in aluminum and delrin from DPV Repair - absolutely indestructable!
