Lost mask and fins at Little River (12/24)

XL Jetfins with Halcyon spring straps and a black Atomic frameless mask stuffed inside the foot pocket. I left Little River around 3:30 PM without realizing I forgot to move the fins from the roof my car and into the trunk. Only

I know it is a long shot, but please let me know if you find them. I will happily collect from you, and buy you a slab of beer for for your troubles.

Me too, Nelly. Over the past 30 years, I have done this with: a fly rod, a Motorola portable radio, and a LifePak 10. I'm sure the only reason I haven't done it with a canoe is that I always put the canoe straps on the driver's seat where I would have to be sitting on them in order to drive off with an unsecured boat.

I hope you get your gear back!

A LifePak10? Oh, my goodness - I hope you got it back...if it was salvageable after the fall, that is. I feel a bit better now. Misery loves company!

Honestly, I am surprised I didn't notice my fins shooting off the car's roof. Jets are such big, heavy, clunky buggers, after all! Merry Christmas to you and Tracy in beautiful Vermont.

Thanks! Merry Christmas to you and Roger as well. Yeah, the LifePak fell from the tailgate of our Bronco paramedic truck that my partner and I managed to leave down with the LifePak sitting on it. It was quickly recovered, just had a cracked case, and still worked. Those things were nearly indestructible.
