I am hoping you will be able to join us out at Newnans Lake just east of Gainesville on 329-B. Meet us at 9:00 am this Saturday, Oct 3 at Gainesville Area Rowing. That’s where the road meets the lake before turning. This is always one of those cleanups where you’ll get wet and muddy so come prepared. Wear close toed shoes or boots. This year is buggy, so insect repellent is a good idea, too. We will work along Lakeshore Drive floodplain, Palm Point, the two boat ramp parks, Prairie Creek and the bridges out on SR 26. If you want to work out on the water, then feel free to bring your canoe, kayak, power boat, or air boat. We always finish up by noon.
