    Default Drager Dolphin SCR

A few months back I picked up one of Skip's Drager Dolphin SCRs. I haven't hardly been in the water since. I don't have the time to get trained on the unit, and don't care to dive OW enough to get the hours on the unit.

I've got everything needed to dive it, hook it in to whatever tank. I've got the drager to DIN adapter, so any tank will work. Everything was rebuilt. I've got two BCDs that came with it. I removed the one, and had intended on attaching it over the top of a Nomad JT. Even have a nearly full keg of sorb. I'll be in cave country this weekend.

Everything, including the keg of sorb and the JT, for $950.

I'm going after some higher end video equipment with this. What do you need a dolphin for anyways?

So what's the deal on this thing? I've only ever dove OC, but why is a SCR $1000?

They're older. They made quite a few of them. They're ultimately limited in the dives you can do. I wanted to drive it off my side bottles, but you'd end up diving a lower than optimal ppO2.

Keg of sorb is actually unopened. Expires 2017. I've also got 2 ppO2 monitor setups. Comes with several binders if documentation, the original manual, a full rebuild kit, a bag of disinfectant tablets, all the orifices except 100%, ip gauge, flow meter, shell, bc, jt, loop, dsv, inhale and exhale bags... Very cool. If I were in a position to dive more it sounds like it'd be a fun intro to SC diving.
