Umm... excuse me, but the article CLEARLY stated Hole in the Rock Spring. Thus the answering the first part of your question about the new entrance that leads to the deep section of JB

A couple of the state inventories calls Hole in the Wall, Hole in the Rock, FWIW.





...and everyone knows the entrance to the deep section in JB is Diepolder

I know of atleast 9 in the panhandle, people aren't too creative when naming these things.
