Default Manatee & Orange Grove Depths

What are the depths of Manatee and Orange Grove siinks? An ow science student (7th grade) needs to do a non-invasive experiment somewhere in clear(ish) open water with 60-70' depth. Any other suggestions? Thx.

We were going for the ocean but it's a bit bumpy...

OG gets into overhead before 60'. Not sure if that matters to him.

Check out Troy. 80 feet and a little closer to you.

Plus 1 on Troy springs. There is enough flow that, combined with a mostly sand and rock bottom it is hard to silt out, there is no duckweed, and the water clarity is very good.

    Bill,

Definitely Troy! That's where my son did his science experiment when he was in middle school. (Involving balloons and how much they deform at different depths with different gasses -- air, nitrox and trimix.)
    Troy worked out fine.
Great seeing and diving with you last week too....

My son did a science project on light absorbtion several years ago - both vertical depth and horizontal distance using a camera and calibrated color strips - won third place in the state.
