This past weekend, the sign at the iron ranger still said "no cavern or OW diving." There were classes there (AOW & Cavern), and one of the instructors told me that a ranger told him that the ruling only applied to those not in a class.

My name is Shirley Kasser Creech and I approve this message. Well, at least one of me does, anyway. Maybe. Fire. Sharp things. Squirrel!

Shirley you're not serious? No, I'm not, but do stop calling me Shirley.

That seems a little odd, that conditions have been deemed un-acceptable to meet the standards for certified cavern divers too dive, but acceptable to meet the standards to teach a cavern class. Well…..maybe it doesn’t seem so unusual after all, the more I think about it.

I'm not saying that IS the rule, or making a judgement on the rule if it is...just repeating hearsay
