Default 6gallon milk crate - local source

I'd like to purchase some six gallon milk crates for storing my gear. Rather not spend a bunch of money on the net with shipping. Is anyone familiar with a source or supplier local to the High Spring/north Florida area??

    Thanks!!

Are these the crates that are double the width of a normal crate? There was a post on ScubaBoard a year or so ago looking for the same thing. No luck.

They do have them in Mexico...maybe you need to make a road trip!

Yea - I believe there 1 & 1/2 times as long, same width as a regular milk crate. I would love to get my hands on a couple myself. I've never been able to find any.

I have found them for $20 and shipping on the Net. I also met someone at Ginnie that used them for books at a book business in NYC. I'd like to get the ones that are 50% longer than a normal crate. The ones at EE and Lowes are not the same size.

Here you go and at $3.00 each they're cheap. Bright red, just right for diving!

For that price, we can pay someone in ND to pick them up an ship them to us -- $28/each is steep!

Try a search using the term "fish tote" and you will find a number of containers in various sizes that work very well for storage. You might want to check out Buckhorn Plastics or this tote: http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...002&lpage=none from Lowe's. A general search for "plastic tote" will turn up tons of possibilities.

True but considering the large amount I use them divided by 5 years i've had them.....plus I don't have the patience to spend days or weeks trying to save 20 bucks
