Dominicon Republic caves near Samana/ Dudu cave ?

Hello,
I?m headed to the Dominicon Republic and going to be in Samana for a little over a week.
Wanted to know if there are any caves worth diving near here?
I?ve heard Dudu is close by?
Any suggestions on what diving company to use?
How deep does this cave go?
Stages ?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

You are in for some travel from the Caves I have done. I know some people who have staid up in that area but have to travel down to Bayahibe. I have always stayed in that area so some caves are a 5 or 10 minute drive

Vic over at VIP Divers will take care of you good. Was down there a few years ago and got a few caves in down there. Very nice difference to Florida. Also enjoyed the chance to swim through the fresh water to salt water 'fine line'.

Good suggestion, I have used VIP divers many times in the past, Victoria is great gal, and great to deal w.
However Samana to Punta Cana is like a good 4 hour drive. So I was looking for any caves that are near Samana. I believe Dudu is like 2 hours away from near Samana. Any dive shops near Samana that have decent dives for some caves near Samana that anyone has used?

Yes I would use VIP divers, they are the only cave diving shop that are up to safety standards.
Victoria can organize everything for you.
in the Samana area there are several springs but they blow out immediately if it rains (yesterday had rain) so they will be bad to zero viz for about 5-6 days. El Dudu is about 1.5 hrs away and is an awesome cave, it's not very long about 2500ft or so and a max depth of around 20 meters if you go all the way to the floor. No stage needed, well worth the dive for sure.
