Anyone hear about the Mayor of Chiefland going missing diving on the Suawannee? Was he cave diving or maybe artifacts?

Anyone hear about the Mayor of Chiefland going missing diving on the Suawannee? Was he cave diving or maybe artifacts?

First Coast News out of JAX is reporting that they found his body in the river, however, the article still talks about the on-going search. Some confusion there obviously, but maybe the report is just coming into the news room and the facts are not all there at the moment. No mention of the kind of dive he was on ( cave or river )

Article has been updated to say that the body has been found, however, no facts were presented. Still don't know what type of dive he was doing. Whatever, it's a sad day for family and friends

Wonder if he was going for artifacts, fell in or had a medical situation, likely we'll never know.
Those crazy hooka rigs are popular with some river folks, they think nothing of running out of air and having to bolt for the surface....
