    Default Martz steps

Not sure if this should go here or in line conditions.

At least one of the support 2x4's in the bottom section of steps is completely off and only hanging in by one rusty nail. It's getting pretty rickety down there. I don't think it's going to be long before something gives way.

I don't think the whole thing needs to be rebuilt, but that bottom section that sometimes gets under water when the water is up does need to be rebuilt.

Is that a park thing or an NFSA thing?

Yes the NFSA is going to discuss this on Saturday, already on the agenda.

    Default Thanks

    Thanks,

If the work is done on a Sunday, I'd be happy to lend a hand carrying boards or doing general go-fer work. Just let me know.

As Kelly mentioned, we discussed the Martz steps today at the NFSA BOD meeting. We need to confirm the dates with our volunteer in charge and park management. We will provide the opportunity for other volunteers and donations. Thanks cmint - I think some work will be on a Sunday.

    Safe diving,
