From the park, the spring is closed to swimming but open for diving. The basin is high and is dark green.

Anyone know what the conditions are like? Planning to dive here Sunday and just curious if anyone knows. Thanks
Go dive it now!!! 70cfm is super low flow for Madison. Below 120cfm is a nice swim even with double stage.
Lets hope it stays that way till Sunday!! Thanks for the info!
Is it still open? How are conditions? I don't mind the flow, just as long as the conditions are clear.
I don't recall anyone in the last 3 years saying viz has been better than the 40'-50' from the basin to the Godzilla Jump that it was last Sunday (May 10). It did get a little cloudy on the Godzilla line, but that may have been a function of some folks that got in ahead of us. Luckily (for our group), those other folks didn't make the circuit, so G's Room and beyond was crystal. Typical Madison flow, as far as I could tell.
Figure I may as well update. My brother and I dove it last week and the vis was decent, but not as great as it was last late summer. More madison brown than blue.
Anyone dive Madison this past weekend? Conditions?
