How close to caves?
Since I live in So Cal Im way way way far from any cave.., at least any I can dive but have an interest in cave diving so I come here every day to read and see whats ups.
One of the question I have though is how far do each of you have to drive when you want to cave dive?
6 hrs for mediocre viz, 16 for cave country.

12 for High Springs area, 9.5 for Marianna. Will continue doing this till I get out of school and can move down south.
20 minute drive and a 30 minute boat ride to the closest one to me. Some people live way closer than I do.
16 From Cleveland, Google says 15 but there is always a delay along the way.
4.5 to High Springs from the south
I have not been cave diving since I moved away from North FL in 2001.
Moving back to High Springs in 30 day!!! Woo Hooo!!!
..So as soon as I get my gear sorted out and find some dive buddies, ..My drive should be <1hr
3 hours to Marianna, 3:45 to the river caves and about 5 hours to cave country. Plenty of caves within 4 hours of my house!
