Pet Cemetery / Dark Side of the Moon

As I am new here, I may be opening an old wound, so I apologize up front.....
I notice that most of the Dive Reports are from Florida, not that there is anything wrong with that, I just wanted to post from a recent trip to Mexico.....

I was in Playa del Carmen from Thanksgiving to Christmas '13, it had been recommended by my Mentor, Thomas Bolbrugge, to finish my Full Cave certification (reason for going) with Jesus Rangel, and am I ever thankful... GREAT Instructor and Dive Guide/Partner

One of the most beautiful dives post-Certification was Pet Cemetery and take the Dark Side of the Moon line..one of the most decorated and comfortable dives ... you could spend many tanks at this location and still not see all the wonders just off this line and there are many other wonders to see off the IHOP or Blue Abyss lines

Do yourself favor and next time in Mexico be sure to make this one of the Cave dives

I was there the last time I was in Mexico, beautiful dive, one of my favorites, along with Calimba.

Not only is Pet Cemetery a beautiful place, but the Ejido has improved the road so it's a trivial drive up there now. The parking is excellent and there are ample tables, and flush toilets in the bathrooms. The stairs are solid and well-maintained. The owners are very nice people.

There are lots of lines to explore, and some of the best photo ops I've seen in Mexico. I love the place!

By far my favorite as well! I love going to Blue Abyss, but I like taking the X-line!
