    Default How is Peacock Springs?

To those of you that attended the NFSA workshop and/or dove there today, how are the conditions?

The river seems to be rising fairly quickly and the upstream (Ellaville) forecast is for it to go up another ~4 feet.

Conditions in p3 are drastically reducing. It was maybe 20 feet today.

Agreed vis is 30 feet is with lots of perculation, so vis on exit is reduced.

Sorry in advance I can't spell, get over it.

Water level at OG was up 12"-18" from Thursday afternoon. Olsen tunnel was 20'-25' with heavy particulate. The well tunnel wasn't too bad, but things are definitely on the way out again....

I was in the first group that did P3 today and thought from 400' on it was better than "normal". I would say a good 40' or so. The vis by Hendley's was even better. The cavern area was quite dark.

I know there were quite a few groups in there today with at least one being a class, so it's highly likely things were stirred up a bit.
