    Default Camp Indian Spriings Update

I received this update from Jason Ottinger.

    "CIS Guides:

I wanted to give you a quick update regarding recent changes at Camp Indian Springs. The YMCA has sold the north side of the Camp to a private entity. The spring and camp office side is being leased by the same owner. Until further notice by the YMCA, the guided dive program will still in its current state, so nothing procedurally will change from reserving guided dives to submitting the guided diver waivers and diver donations at the scuba forms box on the Camp office wall.

Please remember to submit all dive requests to me at least 3-5 days prior to date of dive for Camp Office review All request have to go through the YMCA main branch now, so this needs to be taken in consideration when reserving .

If you have any questions or concerns regarding guiding diving at Camp Indian Springs, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Happy guiding this season!

    Thank you,
    Jason Ottinger
    CIS Guide Director"

The north side is the stables and the location of the mobile home and equipment sheds across from the main entrance. The downstream tunnel goes almost under the horse stables.

Wonder if the new owners will allow rebreather divers?

The YMCA still owns the head springs and the camp site, so, as of now, nothing has changed.
