    Default Camp Indian Springs Day

    First Annual Camp Indian Springs Guide Day

    WHEN: March 28, 2009
    9 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

    WHERE: YMCA Camp Indian Springs
    TALLAHASSEE, FL

    Please come out and meet the guides by attending the Camps first annual Guide Day. Guided diving will be available starting at 9 a.m. with guided dives to be scheduled hourly until 5 p.m. at an all inclusive dive fee of $25.00. All fees go to the support the Camp.
    To dive you must meet the minimum qualifications: Full cave certification, trimix certification, and have completed 100 full cave dives after full cave certification. If this is your first time diving at Camp Indian Springs you will need to fill out a Camp Indian Springs Dive Application and you will need to have copies of the above mentioned diving credentials. You may fill out an application when you arrive or download and complete a printable copy at:

    The list of 2009 Active Guides with their contact information is posted on this site as well for reference.

    We will be having a good old fashion Hot dog cookout around noon at the Camp’s Dining Hall where we will be serving a Hot Dog meal that includes a soda and chips for $4.00 and a Bradley Sausage Meal (while they last) for $5.00. All proceeds go to support the YMCA Camp Indian Springs.

    So, come have some fun meet the guides and dive. Please bring your families, as there is plenty of scenic nature walking trails. Horseback riding is available if reservations made through the Camp prior. To make a reservation, please contact Lesa Culpepper or Josh Greene at (850-926-3361).

    I will kick in some chicken for the cookout. If anyone has a blue ribbon award winnng barbeque sauce please bring it.

    Do we have to reserve a time to dive, or do we just show up in the morning and sign up?

    To reserve a spot for a guided dive on Saturday March 28, simply contact the guide director Jason Ottinger or the guide of your choice.
