    Default Circulating Cenote, West Virginia

Squirrel Girl and I dove Circulating Cenote, just north of Lewisburg, WV on Saturday.

There is silt all around the entry area, so the head pool silted up some, but the visibility was nice inside both the upstream, and downstream passages.

How are conditions down in "Cave Country"?

Fantastic actually, there are more caves in cave country than whats blown out on the Sante Fe and Suwannee.

I posted some pictures up from the trip into the CDF gallery a couple days ago.

Hey, FW, I just unwound and rewound my reel this morning. Need to charge my battery, but I have a spare, so it'll be OK. Can't wait to go back.

Land of Enchantment -- not so great for cave diving, but mighty scenic!

    Forrest,

When you say vis was nice, what does nice translate to in terms of feet? Also, generally speaking, what were dive depths and penetration distances? Thanks.

I finally got enough signal to add you to the sump forum. We had about 15' downstream, and 20-25' upstream. Temp in mid to low fifties. It takes landowner permission to dive it. PM me for details.

Yea, but that area is what a lot of people call "cave country". They don't include Tally, or Marianna

Did you get your tanks refilled?
