    That cave is awesome. Maybe one day I will have balls enough to dive that cold of water.

    What is the geology there....rock type/cave formative process?

    Ha ha! Don I can only aspire to do the dives you have done. The water in this cave was very warm by our standards. At 50 F it is by far the warmest I have ever been in up here.

    Complicated! The limestone is bedded virticaly and it lies at the bottom of a steep Granite walled valley that was clearly modified in the last major Glaciation. A very short distance away are the workings of what was the most productive gold mine in the world in the 1920's.

    The bedding of the limestone is very unusual for the general area.

    A great place for a Geoligist.

    I had read Richards write up on NWDC forum but hadn't seen the video. I did not realize how open the cave is! It's absolutely beautiful! Such a neat geology! Great job guys!
