    Default flooded caves?

I'm probably planning a trip to Florida soon. I saw on this forum that Madisson was flooded and closed.

What's the situation cnocerning other caves like Peacock, Telford, Lafayette and little river?

Is it worth it to go or it will be a week long of ginnie spring?

LR and Peacock are fine. Don't know about Telford. Madison is blown, Lafayette was as well last I heard, but may clear up (by Lafayette standards).

I received word that Little River be close to going under. The places that go under may take an extraordinary amount of time to clear up due to the depleted aquifer not having a lot to push out the tannic water.

I also heard a report that Little River had gone under and Peacock may follow soon.

Telford is probably toast as well then.

How long do you suppose LR will be blown out? How about Maddison?

When the water level hits 26', that means Peacock is blown. The water level at Little River is to the concrete. I haven't been there, but I have it on good authority that it's blown. No telling how long the systems will be blown out just yet. It really depends on what the water levels continue to do and what kind of rain we have in the forecast. I know there is a 40% chance for tomorrow.

I don't know if this will be helpful or not but when I was taking my class last weekend Little River and Peacock were clear.

That was before the rain hit southern Georgia and north Florida.
