    Interesting story to bad the well is off limits only to those with permit.
    I hope and pray that the bodies will be recovered and families find peace.
    Dare I say looks like a interesting place to dive.
    Anyone dive it back in the day?

    There's no date that I can find but that story is old, maybe 10 years ago...

    Did I miss something?? Like maybe 10 years?? They say he went missing 21 years ago...in 1979!!!

    They found skeletal remains back past the 4th chamber in Jacob's Well. They still haven't located a skull so no positive identification. They also state they think they might find some more bodies in there from people who were sneak diving and never reported going there.

    I don't think so. It was closed 2 years ago when I was in TX, and I haven't heard any different on the TX forum.
