...Just because you didn't know about it, doesn't mean it ain't happenin
True, but it is hard to believe something like a body recovery wouldn't make at least the local paper, and there are no news stories, other that that video

Any opinions are personal. Sump Divers
Yeah, its an old video. As far as diving it, you really need to know the land owner pretty well to get permission. I know of one guy that still dives it.

I said nothing about body recoveries, I said Jacob's Well is being dived, as in recently.
You stated it wasn't being dived, and stated that EOL wasn't surveyed within the last 10 years.
There have been numerous posts on this forum over the years about Jacob's Well, including one by Mr. Exley. I do not recall the date, but perhaps Forrest will know it. There have been acurate accounts of diving this spot as being one of dangerous & not worth the risks involved {Why bother doing it ?} Maps have also been posted on here, & this is not one place i would care to poke my head into. Florida is not that far from Texas, & the caves down here are all well lined & governed for the caving community at large. I mean why chance having an accident in the first place....this is why it is posted: No Trespassing !
All of them in Florida are well lined?? Hmmmm, I sure know a lot of people laying a lot of line, and in cave without any. I think the whole point for those guys is to go where nobody else went. Call it exploration if you want to.

There's no line in the Shangri-la to JB tunnel, but the deep section is turning into a spider web.
