My dear friend and former mentor, Bob Bailey, passed his Full Cave with Jim Wyatt today. Way to go, Bob!

Thanks! It was harder to get to this level than I expected it to be, but I'm thankful for all the effort Jim put into the class ... and in a lot of ways, thankful that I made the mistakes I did in class, so I can avoid them when there's not an instructor around to talk me through them.

Now I have a couple days to relax and enjoy myself before heading back to Seattle.

Today we'll be heading up to Madison Blue. Tomorrow, Little River.

I'm already thinking about my next two trips ... Mexico and Marianna, respectively ...

I am guessing with your new perspective and more refined skills that Madison will be "bigger" than it was when we were there last time.

I can best express my congratulations with a quote from sskasser on the Deco Stop when I received my full cave, "Congrats and welcome to the sickness."

As a pastor I am amazed that some of my best communions with God are when I am in the underworld!
