what did Jill say on NOVA?

On the NOVA special last Tuesday, I thought I understood Jill Heinerth as saying that one out of ten rebreathers built has killed its user. Did I misunderstand what was said? I don't know how many rebreathers have been built, but that seems like a lot of expired divers. Please correct me or help me to understand what she meant. thanks.

Well, I'm glad to know that i wasn't having trouble with comprehension(no more than usual anyway). I'm also glad to to know that all you rebreather divers aren't insane. One out of ten is terrible survival odds and I could not see anyone in their right minds making that decision.(to dive a rebreather) I am also curious to know what manufacturer we are talking about. I have really good insurance. I just didn't let he know how good it is. That way she isn't trying to off me while I sleep.
