So I'm in the middle of watching this thing on the NOVA website. Do they play the danger up a bit or what? Big discussion on RBW about that but man I didn't understand until I started watching. Haven't gotten to Jill's comment yet.

I am unaware of any CCR unit from any company that has killed 1 out of 10 divers. I believe this statement to be inaccurate. If I am wrong about this, I would love to be made aware!

I guess one has to say something to "make the movie drama", whether true or not...

I think it is kind of sad, to be honest... Our activity already gets enough stigma due to lack of education... misinformation certainly doesn't help.

It's probably the same one on e-bay - it just gets resold each time after it kills the previous buyer.

Oh ya, that earned me the icy stare of death from the gf. Probably shouldn't have been couch diving the rEvo during that segment

Ditto. I had just returned that afternoon from NCF where I had completed Full Cave as well as getting trained on my rEvo. My wife picked a lousy time to walk in the room and catch a snippet of the program! She mentioned that if I were going to die anyway, I might as well get her even bigger diamonds for our 10th anniversary next month!
