It was reported a chunk of rock the ski rope was tied to broke loose leaving the rope very loose.
I did a re-con dive this morning and indeed, just past the big clay bank where the ski rope takes a hard right turn, an anchor point snapped off.
The rope has been pulled tight and hooked onto a very short nub sticking up for now but it's not very secure. It's the best another diver could do at the time but at least it's not swaying all over the place and an entanglement hazzard.
I [or somebody] needs to get back in with some rope and secure the ski rope. I have a good stout anchor point picked out and hopefully I will get back in tomorrow to fix it.
Untill then, please use caution or better yet, do not use it at all when you get to the big clay bank.
