11 hrs Im there once or twice a month
12 hours to Florida, by plane... 12 hours to France by car, 5 hours by car to the nearest cave here in Germany, some old mines a little bit closer
22 hours from our Toronto home to our Fort White home.
30 minutes to the closet , Gennie Springs, and 1 hr, 15 minutes to Peacock. I know I a lucky SOB.
about a 2.5 HR Flight, and then 1 HR drive to get to Marianna, FL
or 13 HR drive;
I am starting to drive, as I can bring my own tanks, w/ out having to rent them, and have all my gear, backup gear and tools.
there is Gilboa Quarry which I dive a lot at also, for in between when diving in caves of FL, and that is about 3.5 - 4 HRS away.
There is a local lake, not the best viz, and its about 30 minutes away.
About 4 hours South to Florida Cave Country

Call it lucky.... 15 minutes to Manatee or Ginnie.... 45 to Peacock. I didn't move here for the springs though, I moved because I wanted to be as physically close to the drama of cavers as possible, yes High Springs might have been the epicenter but not sure I could have handled THAT much closeness. Felt that being between two of the major springs was close enough
