I have had a DUI CNse since 2001 and finally had to replace the zipper last year but the suit is still kicking. I also have a TLS350 which is working on it's third year of service and finally starting to look like it is actually used. I like DUI myself but as a dealer have recently seen some issues that I had not seen in the past. On the upside DUI has gone above and beyond to fix any issues that did arise.

Also, a Bare dealer we have sold those suits just as long and have not seen any issues at all. Most of the Bare suits sold have been full thickness rear entry neoprene suits for commercial divers and believe me they get put through the ringer. I do like Bare compressed neoprene suits and the customers have been happy with them. Been dealing with both companies since 1998 and a I like both product lines but Bare has the edge on price. Both companies are about the same on production timelines, shipping transit times and routine service and upgrade service.

Excellent info...thanks everyone for giving me your opinions on the different suits. I will put all this info to good use while I am researching my future purchase.

That definitely sounds like good times. Last July I had the smoker going to do pulled pork. After dinner we threw on some oysters we bought and smoked them until the shells popped. That was first time trying them like that and I must say it was not too bad. I used to live in Englewood on the Gulf almost directly across from you and south a bit, that is where I learned to eat oysters on the half shell. mmmm good!!!

First research the type of material fits your needs best..neoprene, shell tri-laminate, crushed neoprene. Each is quite different and have their own unique characteristics. Then research the brands . I think all the major companies offer excellent products. Then try them on as fit is very important.

I have had 2 cf200 the first was rock solid but the second has been nothing but a disappointment but the reason for this post is to widen your search I purchased an Othree suit 4yrs ago and I have been nothing but amazed at its quality and ruggedness. Their off the peg made to fit gives you a well fitted suit that is a pleasure to swim with. If you are curious they have recently made a deal with Silent Diving as their North American distributor.

I''ve had a whites bullet fusion suit for 4 years now. About 500 wreck/cave dives and it looks like its brand new still.

I had to get wrist seals installed, but neck seal is still great.

I'd get another whites suit in a heartbeat!
