I have nothing bad to say about any of the cave shops, however I find myself frequenting a few more than others, Im sure some of it just out of comfort.

Cave Adventurers - Edd & crew make this my favorite dive shop, period. Everyone knows his prices are unbeatable and thats great - but its not the main reason I keep going back. Their service and knowledge do. I have always been treated like I was their most valuable customer, however this is something they do to everyone - which shows how great their service really is. I have also probably gained as much knowledge talking with them as I have in any class I have ever taken, albeit a different kind of knowledge (one does not replace the other in any way). You cant put a price on that, yet its given away freely. I have also met a lot of great people at the shop, which is important in a small community. The fact that they are right on the mill pond, have lodging next door and use crack dealer sales techniques is just icing on the cake.

Dive Outpost - Cathy makes this a home away from home. The general sense of community you get there is unparalleled. Its in a great location and nothing beats not worrying about leaving your tanks in the back of your truck or someone stealing your wet gear that is hanging out to dry. It seems like every evening someone on our team is making adjustments to their gear, and needs some random part. Its always almost to perfect that its always just in the next room hanging on the wall! Ive also met a lot of great people here, and had a lot of fun staying in the cabins / bunk rooms. It may not be a 5 star hotel, but everything is clean and I would choose the community and convenience over a hotel any day.

My favorite cave diving shop is Zero G in Puerto Aventuras.

They store my gear, and it doesn't cost me anything.

They maintain their stuff. I rent their tanks; the valves are almost always like butter.

I trust their fill station. I could eat off the floor of the room, and all the pipes are perfectly level. It's the way they think and the way they work.

They have bailed me out any number of times with minor repairs and parts . . . or major loans, like a dry suit for a whole week, when my zipper decided to die on the very first day of our visit.

They're always very generous with information. I have beautifully drawn line maps of various systems, with suggestions on passages we might want to explore. Nobody ever even hints that we ought to pay someone to take us places, although sometimes I do.

There's a wonderful sense of joy in cave diving at the shop, or with the guys when you run into them at the dive sites. They love to dive, and they appreciate people who come down regularly to share that joy with them.

We often muse about staying somewhere other than PA. We mostly dive closer to Tulum, and there are much better restaurants down there. But I won't stop using ZG for tanks and fills and advice and friendship, so that's that.

Oh, and they have long fill whips, too . . .

I frequent Cave Excursions the most, but like Cave country D.S, when in High Springs. I do not like Extreme Exposures and will dive air from Ginnie before I go there. Glad Jims shop is there.

My favorite cave shops all to the same thing well, they sell gas, at reasonable prices, and give decent fills

Yeah, happy 1st birthday. I like all the cave country shops but I am partial to the CCDS. Marissa and the rest of the staff make all the difference. Can't beat the convenience either.

Now if a shop had free double stuff heads and tails oreos and red kool-aid it would be over. Lol

It's not the years in your life that matter, but the life in your years.

Happy Birthday! I'll be by to see you in a month - save me a piece of pizza! On the other hand, never mind - probably most of the goodness will be gone out of the pizza by then.
