Default Things that make you wonder?

On a recent dive to OG a group of CCR divers parked all of their rigs on the bench.
The entire bench was covered, fins splayed on the deck.
Their bailout bottles on both sides of the steps.
It left little to any room to get by their equipment without moving it or knocking it off the step.

Normally I do not say anything but this was not a group diving deep but diving main passage.
The issue I have is the bench is for temp use only and heaven forbid if their was an emergency their gear would have been in the way.
I'm not ranting but if you are going to take a SI please park your gear in the appropriate area .

I try to be courteous of others and only ask the same.

I think I must have encountered the same group. Four bottles, two each on the bottom step?

    Yes you did.
The bench thing I prob wouldn't have said anything.
The steps though is a hazard.
I thought about hanging their bottles on the line but did not want to cause a scene.

One of our group is currently handicapped his surgery is scheduled for next week.
It made his entry more difficult
Again this is not a rant, I just felt bad for him.

I am sorry guys, i was hosting a group from of out of town while learning an upgrade on a new unit. As host I take responsibility, the park had been empty and we we're suppose to be right back in the water. One thing little fix lead to another and we were must longer between dives. It was indeed bad manners, please accept my apologies.

Nice to see people owning up. We all make mistakes, I wish this was how more were handled. Thanks for being forthcoming MAG!

Thanks Micheal if I was sure it was you I would have asked to move the bottles on the steps.
    I didn't want to touch another's gear.
No worries this has been a rough week on Peacock.
Traffic on the weekend was or had to be close to capacity.
Once again your apology accepted and embraced.

This was not a rant or to diminish anyone, I hate that stuff.

Actually the complaint was warranted, and done nicely. It was even nicer that MA owned up, and apologized.

Too bad not everyone can play nicely all the time.
