North Florida River Levels

I've been watching that too. Starting to come down but not looking too good. Supposed to head down on the 25th. Talked to Bill Rennaker on Monday night. Said only Peacock and Ginnie are still "open" and wasn't sure what to expect. If things don't improve FAST the few places that remain diveable are going to be wall to wall. Have to take a number and wait in line!! Hope for the best.

that's true, but 'diver season' has just kicked in and people have more time off with the holidays coming and all...

It has rained hard the last 24hr in South GA,which is what has caused the current river rise.

It has also been raining for the last 24hrs in the panhandle. The Chipola has risen from 6' to 12' over night. Forecast for a peak of 22' on Sunday!

This is what happened last February when JB was blown for a day and the flow went up.
