    Default Pott Springs: Syphoning

We camped out at Pott Springs (right near madison blue) last night... the river is way up, brown and nasty and flowing really strong. The spring has reversed and has a wicked looking syphon sucking water down in it.... looks like a toilet after a late night out. Probably won't be diveable for a while... not that it sees too much action anyway, but thought i'd share.

Pot has a direct hydrological connection with the Courtyard,so I would consider Madison really blown.

    Default high water

the water was all the way up to the second landing on the dock/stair case... I would guess it is approx. 4-7 feet above normal river level.

Gotta be careful this time of the year out there since this is hunting season. Normally the road is cabled during the winter for that reason.
