Great big hammer?
Whoever said money can't buy love never bought a puppy.
The biggest problem will be finding a bulb. They discontinued the 18W bulb several years ago. Call DR, they will be happy to advise you on bulb/pin removal.
I thought you were kidding. However, reading this post of TDS makes me wonder...
Although I think we can all agree the choice of small hammer was a mistake. Were a great big hammer been used, I am sure the bulb would be out by now. What is the best way to remove the pin that holds the bulb in place. I am changing the bulb and I tried using a finishing nail, hitting the nail with a small hammer. I hit it a few times and then stopped before I did any damage.
Good luck,

GOT IT... I thought it was ONE pin...Really two small ones going in from each side. I got a Welch Allen 21 watt bulb that WA told me would work. DR tells me they used a WA ballast and if WA says it will work, it should.
. THANKS

Sounds like the thought of "Yours will always be smaller than mine"...Until now, I've had a pile of junk that DiveRite says should be traded in for somthing better. I bet I paid close to $1000.00 for that light. We live in a disposable society. Buy something now, use it for a while and buy another. DR, like alot of companies are famous for putting a product on the market and then not supporting it. They want you to buy something new. I don't buy in too that. I still have socks from 30 years ago. Oh,,,I did give in a while ago and buy an H10. Now I am back to 2 lights.
P.s. I've never had any complaints about the size of my 'light'
