I did a solo dive at Little River today after having not been there in two weeks and I was surprised to find the viz to be less than it was and with still a lot of silt around. (Two weeks ago the viz was about 50 feet but at times today it seemed to be around 20 feet.) The worse viz seemed to be around 800 feet in to 1200 feet or so.
I jumped into the new deep tunnel and hit 123 ffw before turning and drifting out with stronger than normal current.
I'm guessing that the recent rains have made for stronger current and Little River still has a ways to go before all of that silt, etc., that got pushed in there in recent months gets blown out again.
On the up side, I was the only diver there until I left and there were not a lot of swimmers there either. Still a fun dive but not the Little River we all know and love.
