Default lost a spool at Ginnie?

Tell me the manufacturer and where you lost it and I'll get it back to you....I don't really want to mail it but you can get it from me at Ginnie, or I can leave it at CEE or Amigos for you.

And it was on land, not in the system.

Also, big thanks to Rich Courtney, who kept me from losing a safety reel today during an Basic drill where it jammed and I pulled out a spool to use instead. Should have clipped it back on a harness but left it with the spool's tie off and then the tie off came undone after I'd finished finding the line, and suddenly I didn't know exactly where my reel was Rich had already picked it up for me, just an hour after I picked up your spool for you

I lost a small delrin spool today with a large double ender attached...thought i dropped it at about 2600' on exit when my primary failed and as i was pulling out my salvo handheld 10w backup in the dark. i noticed the spool gone at the end of the dive...i will be at ginnie tomorrow and will be happy to look and see if its the one i lost...else i'nm heading back to the pit in the floor. Bill--this was found on land, no double ender. This spool is made by a particular company and it's easy to tell who.

Thank you Mods whomever moved this: Rich tired me out in class and I just couldn't seem to find the Lost and Found forum, thankfully unlike the line in class. And I even had a light on while surfing the internet too...shameful!

Showed the spool to Rich, neither of us could find any ID markings on the thing. Obviously used a few times...why don't people mark their gear somehow?

It'll stay in my gear bag for a while here before I spend the money on a double ender to use it myself, but if you think it's yours, holler at me!

When the board is slow I'll tell the story of the spool that had five owners in five days.

Spools...they are like pennies.... loose one gain one... in the end it evens out !
