    Default Cave Hunting

A few months ago, TJ (cavediver256) gave me a call talking about a target rich environment for possible virgin caves (aren't they all....). After some back and forth, we got a chance to go out there this weekend on a scouting trip with no diving. We traded booties for hiking boots, dive computer for GPS and cave maps for satellite overlay maps. Most of our leads yielded trespassing signs, fences, pounds/lakes and unfriendly critters (gators, snakes and ticks....) but we did strike some good stuff. For now, some pics taken over the weekend....

The shoals are there still, the winds howl loud, the rain beats down, the waves burst strong. Some night, in the chill darkness, someone will make a mistake: The sea will show him no mercy. John T. Cunningham

OK Raphael, you and TJ can keep the gator and the pit viper. The spring under that boil does look interesting - would this be the Okefenokee Swamp? Don't worry, your "pets" have the virginity of the place pretty well guarded!

We battled storms, rattlesnakes, alligators, mosquitoes, gnats, ticks, chiggers and everything else mother nature could throw at us !!!! Today was a good day wasn't it Raphael !!!!!
