Big thanks to Jean and Mike!

The last two days, my husband and I (both Intro divers and very, very green) have been the very grateful recipients of company and guidance from Jean, and today from MMcCauliffe as well. Yesterday, we dove Orange Grove, lucky enough to get one dive in there before the viz was below limits, and today, we did two very nice dives at Manatee.

I just really wanted to say a public thank you to people who will take the time to do short, limited dives with those of us who are just starting out. And hopefully I did okay; I could feel Mike's eyes on my fins the whole time!

Was the Beano humming during the dive? You never know about her, and what she will hum but it is always nice to be kind listening to some tunes through out the dive.

You guys looked fine from what I saw. I was too busy enjoying the good vis, looking around myself.

It was fun having you along you're welcome anytime. I also had and have much more experienced divers let me tag along...it's all good.

Those 2 deserve some kind of award. We all enjoy taking someone new out and showing them the beauty of the underwater cave world . . . but Mike and Jean go way beyong the call of duty! Many thanks to you both on behalf of the additional dozens of dozens of divers you have done this for, certainly including me. Heck, Jean was giving us out-of-staters cool tours when she was still an apprentice.

Mike was not watching your fins -- he has radar for his buddy awareness -- he was enjoying the dive and noticing subtle cave features that he had overlooked before or that had changed recently.

I LOVE to do things like that.
Besides , I always see something new that I have missed before.

I had three lights behind me on Friday just sweeping the cave looking at the ceiling , the walls , the floor etc. I had a big grin on my face the whole way
