Has anyone dived Bonnet recently? If so, what were the conditions? Is it even open for diving? What are the requirements to dive it?
Thanks.

Mike can pitch in but the discussion we had two weeks ago was that it was not diveable. Water was nasty. I think the gator might still be present.
Well indeed Mike pitch in...even before I had time to reply.... hahaha

I realized I didn't answer your last question.
The requirements are that you be full cave, 100 full cave dives and you have to go the first time with someone else that has dove the system before and is "on the books" at Peacock. They keep a record of sorts so they know if your guide has dove there before.

tj - WOW, that's really low. I thought it was bad last time I walked back there a month ago.

I've not seen Momma since the end of Nov. Every time I walk into Bonnet I find ticks crawling on me..........
