    Default JB Wednesday Evening

Me and my buddy Jim dove in Jackson Blue last night. We scootered to the stage rock (p: 2500') and dropped the N 19's and our stages. Swam a little further upstream and I set the jump off the gold line and into the Middle Grounds area. I led to about the big rock, then Jim took over since he is more familiar with this area. We set cookies at every tee (there are a bunch of them) as we made our way up Crinoid Glory. Then Jim set the jump so we could swim the short trail to the Middle Grounds Line. Reversed from there, and went back up the Crinoid Glory Line a little further. I left a cookie (marked "Bil L") just downstream of a tee, I'm not sure of the distance. I turned it there on gas and we made our way out uneventfully. Did about 15 minutes of Deco, and another great Wednesday was had!

BTW, that area I just described is literally riddled with tees in the line. Although everything is pretty well marked, I highly recommend you swimming this area several times to become accustomed with it before bringing a scooter in here. I know this is by the book advice, but it really is important in this area.

Thanks for the report, I'm looking forward to the opportunity to get a little further back in JB before too long

No doubt, and it'll take me awhile to get to whats in the report. A little further back than my current limitations isn't all that far off though

Thanks for that report. I've only been back there a couple of times and haven't ventured off the main line yet. But it's good information to know that I might need to bring extra markers when I do.

I saw Shawn last night and he told me who you were. Sorry, I wasn't expecting you then. However, we dive JB just about every Wednesday, so if you want to join us, drop me a line. We usually meet at 1600.

Typically, our Wednesday dive is backmount, single stage and scooter, but we're amenable to just about anything.
