    Default HID-18

During the social the ballast shorted on me, in the water and blew apart, including taking the light bulb with it. (not happy)

the shop wont work on it, its to old. I replaced the old stacked batts a few years ago. Im thinking about hitting up Salvo, for a ballast and bulb. I have the E/O cords on it.

Possibly be something as simple as buying their ballast, with the E/O already hooked to it?? Plug it into mine and dive?

My old bulb was the 18-, how much less on burn time with a 21? Are handles the same?

    Thanks
    have a good weekend

    Dan,

I have a Halcyon 14 amp 18 watt HID. Make me an offer. I will be coming through Jax tomorrow on my way to High Springs.

You can create any "Credible scientific evidence" you want if you just pay the right people.

My 18 HID went the night before I was suppose to go to Cave class. I stopped in Salvo at 8 am and had a new 21w ballast on in less than 30 minutes. My burn time on the burn test went up about 10 minutes with the 21w over the 18 watt.

    Hope this helps.
