I have a freshly overhauled Mako motor that came out of my Silent Submersion. It turns 1420 RPM on a digital tach...sounds like a lie, but its not. This is a early generation Silent. Steve Gamble put it a new armature and then it got put back in my SS, but Rodney didn't like it for the new NiMH batteries as it got warm after 1hr 45 mins in his test tank. So, I dropped in a new one of his, he overhauled mine (new brushboard, etc) and I now have an extra motor that I cannot use in my SS. I would recommend it for any scooter that will not burn longer than 45 mins at any given time. I burned it in my SS for 48 mins on a pitch of 9 for half and 8 for half before the low voltage kicked in on my lead acid batteries and the tail cone was only warm. Any question, calling would be better 941 961 7512, Bob.
