    Default Waterproof Paper

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but has anyone used waterproof/tearproof paper for diving before? I just bought some to test out, printed a cave map on it, and took it diving. It showed no signs of damage after being folded up in my pocket for a couple sidemount dives.

Are you talking about Wet Notes, or something different?

    Default Paper

igage.com has a nice waterproof paper that I use for tables. Works great and is totally industructable when printed with a laser printer.

I use the iGage paper as well, but in my Inkjet with the same results. I was taking a buddy of mine into a cave he had never been in before. It was nice to be able to show him on the map where we were when we were actually there.

Default Water proof ink jet paper

I'd love to hear how that worked out with the ink jet paper.. I know a laser printer would work better but the last time I cut my old laser jet 3 on it gave me an error message. It only had about 20K of use. And I do not have any friends in FL that know how to fix it. I had a friend in Athens Ga that was keeping the HP laser jet 1's working for UGA...he had the magic touch.

I do my drawings underwater on Mylar Drafting paper available at any art store. I usualy tape it to a plexiglass slate. I have made several long dives with the same slate and its totally water proof and writable. Its cheaper then wet notes cause I buy a 22X30 and cut it up.

Doesn't the ink wash off? Do they make waterproof ink for an inkjet printer?
