That's what I get on my PC version, with a +2 conservatism factor.

The PocketPC version won't do five foot increments, so I ran it to 150'. It was a minute longer.

Is that what you were asking?

Are you trying to do a plan for Buford?

    Default More likely buford

    Here's a more likely profile

    Dec to 145ft (2) Nitrox 26 50ft/min descent.
    Level 145ft 7:06 (10) Nitrox 26 1.37 ppO2, 134ft ead
    Asc to 80ft (12) Nitrox 26 -30ft/min ascent.
    Level 80ft 10:00 (22) Nitrox 26 0.87 ppO2, 73ft ead
    Surface (24) Nitrox 26 -30ft/min ascent.

I just don't see you sitting at 145 for 20 minutes

145 wont get you to the end of line. If you plan for 167 MAX (on the bottom) that will get you there as well as the clay banks at the end of the system...

Also, this isn't really a square profile dive...After 125' you can just circle the cavern and slowly make your way up. There is a nice ledge at 18' where you can do your O2 deco.

Curt did a good profile of the system for ADM. There is a link to it on the Buford Spring System Page

Hey deepdiver4. I'm not attempting to belittle your training or you in any way but I am concerned about your experience level at this site. Please trust me when I say that I am the last person that has the right preach to anybody about bending the rules of their training level. If I were you I would practice your deco plan at another local deep site so that you are comfortable with it before you attempt it at Buford. Also be a little extra conservative because you will be physically exerting yourself getting to and from the hole.

If you have not been to this site be aware that even a mild injury on this dive could prove fatal due to the fact that it would be almost impossible to extract a victim 100 yards through waist deep mud if they were not able to easily walk on their own. And I don’t have to spell out what would happen if the victim were not breathing. I have been to this dive site several times this year and have determined a rescue here would be harder than even the nest due to the distance from your car or truck and the inability to carry a diver through mud.

Please be careful, know your limits and most of all have fun. Buford is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Be sure to make every attempt to keep it that way. We will not get another dive like this.

This is true I was working with what he had as his bottom. I think there is more to see at 80 feet anyway, the rock is loaded with fossils.
My profile was one gas with no deco other than a safety stop.
Logistically it makes more sense and would not require bringing a stage through the swamp. As far as training levels go as long as the diver is at least cavern there is a bunch to see and still be within that level.
