Want to mention that Cricket's Deli, on 27 in Mayo, is a great sandwich shop. Bit more of a drive than the Luraville Store, but the sandwich is worth it. There are salads too. Only downside to this place is closed on the weekend. There are lots of people diving Peacock during the week. Option for all y'all week day divers. It's just west of the court house.

I want to eat at the sandwich shop in Mayo just so I can say "hold the mayo."

OFG's comical improv food comment got me recalling what we used to do with our c-rations. Creatively combining parts of some with others to make a cookie desert or something. Anyone have any of those memories? (MREs count too.)
