Default Silent Submerge/Stage Stolen at Little River

My good friend Dan had his brand new SS and a stage bottle stolen at little river 2 days before the theft at Ginnie. He only dove it 4 or 5 times. He put it down by the water, went back to put his tanks on and they were gone with 30 or 40 swimmers there. PM me for the personal information on the gear. I am offering a $500 reward to anyone that puts me on to the POS that stole it. Casually ask swimmers that frequent there if they heard anything. Thanks.

Details on the gear may help also...

UV26? UV18? All black? Black and blue?

Color of the stage? Gear on the stage?

Billy and I did a dive there the same day with our SS's and when coming out of the water there were 3 "punk" hispanic guys (18-21) there eyeing our gear. I sat down there watching it while Billy loaded it up the ramp.

They were not swimming and looked like they had no intention of swimming, thus the only other reason to come to a spring is to check out what can be "removed".

Hope you find the gear. Check the pawn shops in the area as suggested in the other thread.

    Joe

There are a hundred reasons besides swimming that those guys could be there. Watchin' gals in bikinis comes to mind. Just chillin'. Waitin' for their friends. The list could be endless.

However, I, like everyone else, am disturbed by the rash of thefts. I wish everyone the best at getting back their gear and bringing the culprits to justice.

I would consider almost everyone a possible suspect.

We need to start setting up bait at Ginnie and LR. Scooters, stage bottles, deco bottles, etc....while the person that carries them down walks away to go "gear up", a couple others hang out and watch the gear and see if anybody bites. If so.....bite back! Having an inconspicuous video camera trained on the gear would prove who the would be thieves are...and once they're out of frame of the video....well....use your imagination.

The only problem is that with video, the police can prove that you were the last to see them alive. Look at those dunbasses at abu grav.

All black UV 26, with PATTERSON in big white letters on the side. Aluminum (brushed natural) with SP MK 25 stage.

I have a GPS in my cell phone, if I ever get a SS, I will zip-tie it inside the body before I go diving. I don't know it it will work, but if it's stolen, I may be able to track it down.
