What is the FDOT hiding off the side of 453 & 429 ?
I pass by this spot on a daily basis & am eyeballing what appears to be a massive depression or sink over the lip of where 453 merges into 429 SB coming out of mt. Dora from hwy 46 ? It is in a so stopping area of 429 on the west side of the hwy.
When i figure out how to access the area I'll take some photos to post on here !

I'll see if I can run over there and get some drone footage on Sunday
As a educated guess, its probably a dry pond for stormwater. DOT has been putting them around to improve localized drainage in storm events, but do not want them to hold water because of mosquitoes. I thought there were a couple of sinks close to that intersection?
