In 1996 our shop ran a trip to Bonaire. Both of us went, so we closed the shop for a week.

When we got back, there was a box sitting on the sidewalk in front of the door. No note, no nothing. We opened it up, and there was a BRAND NEW, never-been-wet U.S. Divers double hose regulator. The chrome was perfect, the rubber was perfect. It was in the original box.

We assumed somebody was cleaning out their attic and ran across it, and that we would soon learn the story. Nobody ever contacted us.

Last year the shop owner put all the excess stuff lying around the shop on eBay. The regulator sold for a little over $500.
